I have a Tacoma bass as well. These are great basses and you play so beautifully! If you don't mind me asking; what exact microphone and preamp do you use? Please let me know details so that maybe I can find the exact same and purchase. Also, do you use a direct signal from the built in piezo pick-up as well? Any info would be helpful. Thanks!!!!

@22DINGOS Hi, I'll try to help you. When I made this video I used my AMT25 for double bass (you can see on his clamp on the video) and the line. Now when I record I use just nice microphones, such a TB1studio project or a pair of shure sm81. I think if you work with a sound enginner it is easy for them to find a way to get nice sound.

@Jorgasca The question is, this is not useful for live concerts, even if there are no drums. After searching and searching, I discovered the Takoma pick up is made by LR BAGGS, they have a PREAMP/DI, their "Venue DI". It has two parametric eq, Notch, phase inverter, is portable as a DI... And is made by the same gear so there is not impedance problems. It works mon ami...(search internet for lr baggs)

Great toning...one day i would love to play with you. I love the MGS series played all of them and other than being a technology freak i paint and also been playin guitar and some other instruments as well i never thought of making money on this "feeling" in my heart and soul if you know what i mean. But when i listened to how you play, i can tell you that you really touched my heart. We live in a cycnical world, way too much hate when there is so much love to share instead by sounds and images.

@darkmemory Hi, great feedback, thank you very much, this is the best I can expect, playing the music that connects with my mind/heart, trying to do it my own way, trying to respect myself even if I'm a creap or oldfassion or.whatever, and perhaps connect to someone...
