Dr. Trasande co-directs the Children's Environmental Health Center at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he holds a joint appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Community and Preventive Medicine. Dr. Trasande's research interests span medicine and policy, but he is best known for his analyses of the economic impact of environmental toxins on child health, and is embarking on a series of analyses that document the immediate health and economic consequences of childhood obesity.
