A Swedish court sentences seven of the ten men suspected of robbing a cash depot in Stockholm. The robbers had escaped with millions of dollars with the help of a helicopter.
7 of the 10 men suspected of involvement in a spectacular helicopter robbery of a cash depot in Stockholm last year have been found guilty.
The man who piloted the helicopter and the man who entered the depot both received prison sentences of 7 years.
Another 4 were sentenced for being accomplices, and 1 for protecting a criminal.
This surveillance footage shows the robbers in action, using chainsaws and explosives to access the building, and the money—around U.S. $5.3 million.
Less than half an hour later, the robbers loaded the loot into the helicopter and took off.
The robbery was well planned—objects placed around the facility hindered police as they attempted to approach the scene, and police helicopters were unable to respond following sabotage.
24 depot employees were inside the building at the time of the robbery.
Police recovered a fraction of the stolen money, but the majority was gone without a trace.

And because we aro such losers here in Europe the criminal rate in the US is one of the highest in the world while at the same time in Europe it is one of the lowest.

The people of Europe are a bunch of losers. Rob a bank, keep the $5 million dollars, and serve 2 to 7 years in prison. Sounds like a great deal to me; I'm buying a ticket to Sweden so I too can become an instant millionaire. You Rob a bank in the USA, you'll get life in prison.
