bubbles are gold thief's, float a piece of 6 mil plastic sheet over your mat it will smooth the flow and recover more of the fine gold

try some jet dry in your water. it will get rid of the air bubbles and help catch more gold. looks good though, keep up the good work

i think you should add some riffles maybe 5 or 6 just a suggestion

looks like you have lots if air bubbles in the matting, if ya used a paintbrush on the mat before you started scooping material in, ya get rid of the bubbles, you'll probably get more fine gold, just my 2 cents though.

This test and a few more (not recorded) was when I figured out the "Vortex" action happening. I remember telling Mike Pung about the vortex matting and the name stuck. Now we use it in the Gold Cube, but it all began here. I'm sure some of you Gold Cube fans will notice the bubbles (not on the water surface, but on the mat)..at the time I was clueless...Ha Ha.
