The 16th Annual Genundowa Festival in Hammondsport NY. The festival is held each Labor Day weekend, celebrating Native American culture through music, dance, art and food. The highlight of the annual event is the lighting of the celebration fire on the shore of Keuka Lake, which is accompanied by an Iroquois social dance. Once lit, the fire is answered by hundreds of other fires along the shoreline.
