Friday the 13th (2009) Remake Review - Part 1

My take on the new Friday the 13th movie. It is a re-imagining of the first three movies compiled into one. The film stars Jared Padelecki and Danielle Panabaker, and is directed by Marcus Nispel. Michael Bay does not direct this movie, he is the executive producer or something. It is about a teenager (Padelecki) looking for his sister that has gone missing for about a month. He meets up with the other teenagers who have gone up to their friend Trent's lakehouse to have a party which is soon turned into a bloody nightmare by the lethal, yet intelligent, serial killer Jason Voorhees. My rating: ****. I most definately could no complete my Friday the 13th DVD collection without this.

Kids getting into movies they aren't old enough to see.  lol.

Loved the remake, but i only have seen the original, none of the sequels.

It's an underrated horror series

Friday the 13th fans in the horror genre is the equivalent of Star Wars fans in the sci-fi genre

I love Friday the 13th, but I hate the stories. It's scary, but WHY ARE THE STORIES SO BAD?!?!

I can say iv probably watched these movies more than most.I watched the original when it came out at the theaters and thought the remake was awesome the kills were good but the big thing for me was to see Jason running after you. Not the walking through the bush then popping up in front of them for an old school scare. The fast running Jason was a good change

I saw the it from the beginning to the part where Jason gets hes hockeymask! The kill where that girl is hung upside down in that sleeping-bag over that fire-place made me laught! But the rest of the kills were pretty cool! Its great when he finds hes hockey mask, really creepy! I have to agree with that part with the title, i was just like "WTF?!!"

dude i went to that movie with a foam finger, drink hat, jason mask(with kane hodder's autograph), and a few friends, and every time some one died we were actin like football fans. it was awsome.
