Muhammad Ali was a great boxer, the best of his generation... but i strongly believe that Rocky Marciano was the best boxer of all time. The boxing world never saw a fighter as strong and determined as Rocky Marciano.

This is the opinion of a Portuguese boxing fan.

What???? Marciano was a very akward fighter who threw punches all over. The only thing predictable about him, was that he came forward.

Yes, that's true. But Louis was shot at the time. Besides, I don't necessarily put the champs in the ring together. Personally I don't think anyone beats '64-'67 Ali. But I've still got The Bomber #1 imho

Mathews, Cockell, Lastarza, and Layne, were highley rated opponents under 30yo, when they met Marciano.

He would defeat or go 50/50 aganist 75% of the boxers that u listed.

Marvin, quit being a troll. Go back to your room until you can post like a respectful adult.

Moore, Walcott, and Charles, were still highley rated. Moore dominated the lhw division for another 5-6years afterwards. Walcott would have given most top 10 atg hw trouble; not to mention that Marciano couldnt see for 3-4 rounds, with chemical in his eyes. Charles is argueably a top-5 p4p atg who would have troubled most elite fighters, no-matter how big. Louis was shot but still defeating decent comp.
