just a thought......(you will know this i bet !), you should have taken an under exposed picture to then stack the images to get the lighting right in the 3 locations you mention over exposed.....using a program like lightroom or photoshop etc.....

I think you speak just fine. It is refreshing to see someone that knows his stuff not acting like a TV personality or spokesmodel. If you ever come to Northern California, let me know. We have some good night scenes for you.
