@Gagegunsjr That is exactly what I was talking about you illiterate fool! First learn to read, then read my comment again. I don't feel like wasting the energy to explain it to you twice.

@Gagegunsjr This rifle was made in '45. Which if you know anything the European war ended in early May of that year. Meaning that it is very well likely that this PARTICULAR rifle was NOT used in WW2. It most likely was sitting in a warehouse and sold after the war. As most rifles carried by the soldiers were captured and/or destroyed.
Think about what he said before you start spouting off.

How could you have a K98 and not even know the history of it? It was used in by the Germans in WWII and that is a K98K!!! Not a K98. A K98 could only fire 1 round. The kid is better with history.
@Oisin34 The Mauser 98 (or Gewehr 98) could fire 5 stripper clip fed rounds. The "Karabiner 98 Kurz" is the shorter, more soldier-friendly version of the Gewehr 98. It was simply referred to as the "Kar98" or "K98" and was adopted by the Wehrmacht in 1935. Production ended in 1945. If you still have issues concerning the K98, I suggest you direct them to Albert Speer, Minister of Armaments and War Production, Berlin.
