you could have saved hella time and ran those wires to the wire harness that you used to wire that aftermarket deck

so that box under the back seat also serves as a battery? cuz i have mine connected to the battery under my hood but lately my car doesn't want to start when i have it connected so no i don't have it connected.

Dude, move your fuses. You want the fuses right next to the battery. If one of those wires gets cut before those fuses and shorts it'll heat up and start a fire. The closer to the battery the better.
