But sadly, it seems as if though they either forgot their roots, or just decided to abandon them.

Not many Capcom "fans" know this, but Mega-Man is what put Capcom on the map, not Street Fighter. Hell, most people didn't even know Street Fighter existed until the second game came out, which should tell you a lot.

@T0talD0minati0n yeah. universe and legends 3 had SO much potential, but apparently, capcom hates it when we have fun.

...and I was REALLY looking forward to another 2.5D mega man game.

& really, they just don't care anymore now that Inafune has left Capcom.

@StaroceanZero I have to disagree, X-6 had to be the worst. Sure the music was great, but the level design was terrible! X-7 was only slightly better, except for the 3-d bit which were just horrible. By the time X-8 came out there was nothing left of the reputation for this series, and not very many people got to enjoy it because of that.
