Anthony Breslin's 'The Art of Sport' with Christian College Geelong

For six weeks from October 2009 Anthony Breslin worked full time with the amazing staff, students and director of art, technology and design Merinda Kelly to create an ambitious, world-first installation/ performance art piece entitled "the art of football".
In this time over 500 students worked on creating the visual and performance aspects of this unique football match.
A match that celebrated the creative ritual over the actual game, where identity was openly expressed within the loose confines of belonging to the totems of the birds or the cats.

Hey Brezo, what an incredible event!!!!! That is something these young people will carry with them and draw from in their lives and quite possibly shape the direction in their future.

Anthony! a bunch of year 8's (year 7's when this was made) just watched this, just thought we say thank you so much, we had soooooo much fun! you should come back and visit us one day, art was so much fun with you around, we miss the direction we got from you, it was the best part of art that year, and so far this year. :D
