@hypnoticharmonic I realize that, but most do in this day. And it's THEM that I don't really like, most of the time. And the rhythm and overall sound of today's music just isn't in my interest, for the most part.

@Eiravati Not everyone. Maybe you're not looking in the right places; otherwise you're probably finding exactly what you're looking for. Look for crap and you'll find it.

@ajm5007 I'm wondering about who, exactly, you might be refering to. Back then talent was chock-a-block, diverse across all spectrums and genres and very productive. There ARE some good newer People coming along, but the Corrinne Bailey-Rae s, the Jackie Evanchos, the Civil Wars', the Taylor Swifts, the Anna Glassmans are FEW and FAR BETWEEN. And grossly under appreciated for the most part. WHO is making the biggest money? It's "Beat the Bitch Down" SKANKS.

I remember back when this song was a big hit on the radio.Still one of my favorite JB songs.

Okay, I love this song, too, and generally prefer music from the 60's and 70's, but to claim that no one today actually sings and plays real instruments is just absurd. There is as much actual musical talent out there today as there ever was. There's ALSO a lot more crap, but to deny that good music is still being made is just nostalgic snobbery.
hearing this takes ya back to a day when music was actually music.

This is real music. Not only does it sound better, but the people were actually singing and playing instruments, unlike today where everyone uses crappy electronics to cover their untalented voices and stuff.
