    It's pretty simple. I applied the black and white video effect (and maybe sharpness and contrast, I can't remember) and then I used time stretch to accelerate the footage (500-1000% I don't remember either :P)

    Thanks! There's the classic way and the cheapo way, I did the latter...

    Classic: buy a intervalometer, which automatically takes photos as per the setting, and take a photo every few seconds or minutes for a given period of time

    Cheapo: record as much video as you can, then use an editing program to accelerate the video ( I accelerated the video by 1000% or so... so it's actually 20 mins of footage)

    i like the cheapo way of time lapse...lol.. it makes the smoke from the building flow naturally rather than choppy as in intervalometer shots. btw, What is the ISO setting used in this shoot. i am thinking of getting a 60D or T3i soon and would love to go to mont royal and start filming.
