@bigwilliec Just so you know mate although you may dislike the police they are people just like you and me. They are the public just like you and me but their duty is to enforce the law and keep people safe from crime but they are hated by a proportion of the population. They deserve respect for going into a job like that knowing that as soon as they put that uniform on they will get abuse from people like yourself.

Wow... The similarities of the Brixton riot of 1981, and the Los Angeles Riots of 1992 are striking. Operation Swamp: Operation Hammer. Looters who don't care much about the social cause of the riot: Looters who don't know about Rodney King. The main difference is; while Los Angeles was burning, Daryl Gates told a lot of the policemen of the South Bureau to go home to protect their families while the Metropolitan Policemen fought it out
