Troma legend Lloyd Kaufman talks to The Fold about working with the Andy Warhol crowd in the wild early years of independent cinema, and the influence that it’s had on his own work.
My question is this: If Kaufman hung out with the Warhol factory, how come there are no Warhol prints, a la the soup cans, of Lloyd's handsome mug? Which is the greater work of art, a soup can made by man, or a face obviously crafted by the right hand of God? Let history be the judge.
Lloyd Kaufman is one of my favorite film directors!!!
