Did mine but left the blue wheel one in and changed the logo to a green one :) Also added a blue and red one to the 2 buttons on the side heheh

@gprime22 its because he used an actual colored led and not a Super bright one like the clear ones.

why is the intensity on the scroll wheel so low, shouldn't the whole mouse wheel be glowing red, not just the bottom of it ?

@gprime22
Good luck finding an LED at that size that is bright enough. There is no room for a resistor in there to brighten it either. You are limited on voltage based on the circuit board in the mouse.

hai there :P
I have a Q ... the original blue had more mA than the other colored [for e.x. red] ... Is there need to add some transistors ? Or it is still working ?
Or all you did is buy, change, ....
Thx for an answer :)

@Kedo2 I honestly know a lot more about electricity now then I did when I completed this project. When I did this a year ago, I did not add any resistors but just did a basic swap. Looking online you will see that blue LEDs use almost twice the forward voltage than red. This is why my scroll wheel is so dim- because it draws a lot less power. Now that I know about electricity, I would suggest doing the math and adding resistors to the circuit.
