  • Wow, Sony Vagus does not have preset crop ratios like 2:35:1 and all others!?

How about converting footage shot in Anamorphic squeeze, can it un-squeeze panavision footage into native 2:35:1?

  • @islandboystv i believe the new versions do have the presets. and for footage shot with the squeeze, i dont remember vegas having a filter *specifically* designed for readjusting but you can utilize the distortion filter

  • This is pretty neat. Thanks.

  • GREAT TUTORIAL. HELPED ME A LOT WITH MY VIDEOS!! what video conversor did you used to convert the videos from your camera to edit them in vegas? and to what codec?

  • thx.....

  • so fuckin complicated idnt ever plan on editing :P

  • @basilolo thanks for the answer. I already tried solid but I thought it could be done easier, I found videocopilot's letterbox tutorial. Anyway thanks.

  • @marty552 If you are so much to use AE you can use black solids (new layer > solid > choose color black) with certain width on the top and bottom of video. However I'd rather just trim the composition to fit my needs ;-)

  • I have Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5, how can I get those color monitors?

  • damn, This is good. All the other vegas tutorial have that COD shit on!
