Homemade Brushless Motor (reed switch motor)

Brushless motor w/ a small alarm contact (reed switch).
The switch triggers a transistor witch in turn fires the coil. The switch is sensing the position of the drum and the four magnets.The motor runs on 6 volts(4 AA batteries).I found the design on the internet (http://www.simplemotor.com/).

Would this motor still work if you used six magnets on the drum?

The torque is very low.

@Henry92RLC Do some research on John Bedini if thats what you think. It's VERY possible, might need an outside source to start it, but it is perpetual.
