Johnny Romano Make a Wish Skate Jam 2011

This year's Johnny Romano Make a Wish Skate Jam was amazing (again)... great people, insane skateboarding, and more fun than human words can express.

Thank you to everyone who put this event together, everyone who took time to give a shout to the camera, and as my friend Jim Thiebaud says, "Thank you, skateboarding."

No doubt! I probably put in about 4 or 5 hours of skating (collectively) and still came home with enough footage to make an hour long video, but I had to cut back and tried to really summarize what the day was like. Jim's idea of doing live webcasts would be SICK though! Maybe something like a small donation to Make a Wish, then watch a stream... the thing lasts all day, so much amazing stuff happens it's impossible to encapsulate it! MaW makes me like people even more!

I tried Sunday morning. I'm still unsteady. Feels like my melon meat is rolling around in the rind. Maybe have a fractured eye socket =[ Soon tho, or, I could film you, filming you, filming yourself skateboarding?!?

I went for the first time ever this year and I came out all the way from Silver City, New Mexico. It was such an awsome experience and I hope to go again next year.
