@BillyBonesjnr454 holy shit.. there is no number in existence that would describe how many times I've watched this clip in my life... and never ever have I noticed that the song starts with a WHITE guitar!!!! ... crazy... On the one hand its a Brutal Brutal mistake on their part, on the other hand -- they got away with it for all I know! Lol

Sting inspired me so much, when I was about 12, I found an old VHS recording of this, and played it over SO many times, (for over a period of YEARS lol) that the player finally gave out,..as did the tape :( Every time I think of message in a bottle, I always think back to this version. It's like it was meant to be played this way, with just him and the guitar. It really brought out the essence of the song, it almost "echoes" on a windy day for me, for some reason lol

I remember now. This was the defining moment for me. After seeing this movie I went out the buy EVERYTHING the police had ever made. I found a very cool Recycle Record place and bought LPS back in 1983. Wow thank you so much again.

@raddad67 at age 17 I used to wake up and play this part of the movie, and at night before sleep I would play it again... for over a year and a half. It meant the world to me. It still does, I guess.

I saw this movie in the movie theater. This was my favorite song. I was just sitting here thinking about it and wondered if I could find it. Here it was...thank you so much. I have not seen this in YEARS. Thanks you so much for posting and sharing this.
