Long Walk Home, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that uses art therapy and the visual and performance arts to document, to educate and to bring about social change. We use the testimonies, poetry, music, photographs, and videos of and by women and children to provide safe and entertaining forums through which the public learns about healing from trauma.

It is only when you watch videos like this that you realise the true power of women. Through all our hurt and pain, we still find the strength to carry on and use our stories to motivate and help others who have been through a similar ordeal. It is videos like these, that prove our strength and unite us- not as vitcims of rape but as survivors. What if it's a 6 year old girl who was raped ? Or even just molested ? I'm sure she wasn't asking for it by dressing slutty. So for people to say it shouldn't be a crime, you're stupid.

@XmrSkinx, you are sick. Over 60% of women who get raped don't report it. Do you know how ignorant and inaccurate you are? How is rape comparable to pot? Does smoking pot make you feel helpless and angry and violated and depressed? Were you traumatized by smoking pot? And don't you dare blame it on the women. All kinds of women get raped, not just ones who dress "slutty." Thin, fat, dark-skinned, light-skinned, modest, liberal -- every type of women can get raped. Something is wrong with you.
