how the hell are you gonna get water in there in there unless you a punk ass trail rider
-
@bkowalca your motor will simply suck water through the filter reguardless the type of oil... and no toils airfilter oil is the same as others it has a water crarrier. it is not water based
-
I drive my dirt bike in the ocean under water and it works well to keep out all the water. Its the twin filter. try it.
-
its not so much about water testing man its about dirt, the air filter is to prevent dirt from getting sucked into it. so you should have tested that instead of water. i bet then your stock air filter would suck ass
-
@bkowalca how can u mean that this is a "test" u do not even use the same filter! idiot..
-
are uni filters good?
-
use a maxima airfilter
-
Interesting test, useful or not. Thanks.
-
Must be a moron to supmerge you filter under water while riding.

You dumb fuck...water proof dont mean it will stop water..it means water will not wash it off. NoToil is far better than BelRay or any other brand for that matter that I have found to date. By the way...If water is not coming through....how well do you think your bike is breathing??
No filter! No oil! will EVER stop ur motor from suckin in water when thats all u have in ur air box!
(don't actuatty do this! it's a horrible idea!)
go run ur bike with whatever filter and oil on it u want, while reving the motor, splash water on the filter, then check ur air boot to the carb and the inside of the filter, I gaurantee U got water in there!
simply dunking a filter in water is not a realistic test!

What you have said is simply not true. You simply do not understand the chemistry involved. The oil is hydrophobic and literally pushes the water out of the foam. The foam is not saturated with oil, it is lightly coated. Air flows through without any restriction.
Don't believe me? Try it yourself.
