all i need to do is mount the sprocket, get a 5/8 clutch, and mount the engine and throttle cable.

  • Haha, very nice. Just took an old 16HP Briggs & Stratton out of an old garden tractor. Not sure what to do with it. :)

  • @FunkyEuano1

is it horizontal? if its horizontal it will be nice for a go-kart.

  • @KartRacer695

Yep, not exactly sure where im going to get a frame with the specifics of it - i have most of the parts i'd need to get it working etc. Main project right now is the rage buggy's. Any idea where i'd be able to get an old frame from?

  • @FunkyEuano1

find a frame? just build a frame. what i would do with a 16hp engine is, find an old skool racing go-kart, and slap that huge engine on that, that would be nice, loads of torque.

  • @KartRacer695

Yep, i'd rather not be building the frame, it's a real pain (im prone to making stupid mistakes). Found a nice frame locally, and yeah it is a huge engine, I'll buy a nice Air Filter, and other stuff for it.

  • @FunkyEuano1

if the frame is decent, i say go for it.
