After half a year of hard work and over 240 frames, HERE IT IS!
I did this "animation" (haha in the broadest definition of the word haha) to Sierra Boggess' amazing performance as Ariel. In this video, I tried to push everyhting further than I had before (including my patience).
Hope ya like it!
p.s. for better video quality, the Preview has a HQ option!

  • While I get what you're trying to get across here and I applaud you for doing what you've done- this is not an animation. This is at best what's called an animatic (and it's a flipping AWESOME one)!

You've basically got a storyboard here that's been put into film with sound which gives the animators an idea of what needs to happen in each frame (set to the score and VO). You've done a good job on this bit.

  • @pencilwitch thx! yea this is def like a work in progress sorta animatic and not to be taken too seriously hahaa

  • @Jockey1471 j christ FUCKK OFF hahahaa i was like 16 when i made this gimme a motherfucking break lol

its not professional, it was a practice animatic story board made by a dumb teenager.

and to be honest, looking back on this, i do think it looks like shit haha please dont take youtube videos this seriously, its weird lol

  • This isn't utterly breath-taking but I did take an animation class and i understand the work that goes into this. Had i not taken this class i would've found this mediocre but seeing as I have i find this amazing! Great job! I understand completely about how long it takes to make these! I made one that took me three months working everyday and it only turned out to be a minute and a half with no sound whatsoever. truely remarkable work here!

  • @Kumiko632

i would love to redo it now and i see sooooo many things to fix but it was jst experimental and jst for fun

  • It's pretty good. but.. the face at 0:20 kinda freaks me out xD

  • Well, it fits very much so, but I still see too many of her faces borrowed from the movie. Still, the fact that you were able to alter them or animate them into different ways is pretty good. Nice to see someone keep up a passion for animation.

  • @clusterchuck There's some parts that I'm like, eh, what's going on with her smile. But over all I appreciate the hard work you put in it and hope you only grew.
