I themed a pizzeria in NJ from Sept to Nov. completely in horror decor.. It was to look like a dungeon. I had old horror posters framed with light animations inside of them. I also had six full sized creatures that stood around the place with a least 100 bats all over the ceiling with long vines. I also had sound effects around the pizzeria plus I stuffed 50 masks with glow sticks and mounted them on wood and hung them up. I sold it for a quick profit after 4 years of 70 hours a week.
Sweet Idea! But I have to agree with some of the others,, Too much gore and food doesn't mix! Even the smell of smoke machines can put one off of their meal! I'd say have the restaurant with the haunted house theme with the movies but with less gore and the walk through horror house either before or after the meal with as much horror and gore as possible! (And a damn good custodian and clean up crew on staff) Still great stuff!!!!! Darkpops
i've had that idea for dog years now. Its slightly different from yours, but the basis is the same. Like you, i feel its a great idea... and... like you, I am waiting for my dream to come true too :)
if you keep the gore down it would sell. but the seating area should be more gothic. the wait staff dressed as nongross monsters like frakenstein, the mummy, vamprila, lilly munster, dracula, wolfman, etc.... put the guy being electricuted and jerking back and forth in the lobby so you have to pass it ... motion activated... fog machine the bar area.... deep floor fog. the bathroom door screams as you open it. u would have to keep the gore down. i love horror but i don't eat and watch saw...
