And Kelly?Truly one of the most beautiful voices in country music, and one of my musical causes after first hearing her sing almost two decades ago. I tell anyone who will listen to try Kelly'ssongs on for size. She's living proof that there's still good music and great musicians beyond the reach of the beancounters

This is the worst rendition of this song I've ever seen, and I've seen it done in karaoke.

Boy oh boy... I love this song, and his version, but this is botched.

It's too loose, too "jolly". Way to
casual. And WAY TOO FAST.
There is no heartbreaking sorrow in the way he sings this at all, unlike his studio vocal which is GREAT.

And what's with the glib Hollywood stylings on the ends of his phrases. Listen to "well enough alo-ne-a" at 3:10. BARF. It's like Taylor Swift singing.

Uh, he is the writer of this classic. Do you not think he knows how to perform it.

In short, on this night, "no", I don't. I've seen plenty of artists who have written great songs who can still play them lousy on any given night.

We are proud of Kelly and her accomplishments-I knew her when was a very shy and sweet kid in high school. She hasn't changed from what I can tell. I wish nothing but the best for her and her family.
