@Braaainns Actually, it wasn't contradicted in this episode though, Bending units go through phases of life, While adult Bender may have been born in 2998, It's unknown how much older he was in his previous models such as his teenage and baby forms.

@bananaphoneman12 Most likely Hermes erased baby Bender's memory (so Bender would not recognise him if they ever met again), and the scene where Bender got his education was when he thought he was born
