The seem to be hanging the big sign, but have not noticed all the broken windows at Big Blue.

The sign was down for so long because after the earthquake, there was an ordinance against the kind of sign they have. Supposedly, the ordinance just expired, and they're taking its downtime as an opportunity to put it up again.

Interesting. The letters are huge and gawdy. They have some swirly yellow pattern on them. Then there's the huge "cross". Jason asked us if we were there to see the sign, and wasn't it exciting. If I were him I'd rather not have broken windows and bunk beds stacked 3 high.

when i saw you guys walking past the truck with the letters for their big sign, at 3:37..the yellow truck

it looks like the words LULZ are on the bottom...can you guys see it? that would be a funny picture in itself. Also, I would be curious to see what their signs looked like..the ones what were up everywhere as you were walking along.... anyways, nice video. thank you.

I think it may be kind of difficult to get it reinstated. Could be a minor thing the city doesn't care about anymore. Either that, or they're building it in a way that's technically allowable. It's hard to say because I'm not that knowledgeable in little laws like that.

Time to re-instate the ordinance that took that sing down in the first place. Just wait till the sign is completely up.

Either that or look into the new LA ordinance about excessively bright and distracting billboard signs.  Lawnerds, please examine.
