Bad review for Netgear WNDR3700 Rangemax Router. Have received two defective routers form Netgear. This has inspired me to upload my first ever review. Checkout our site www.keepitrealradio.com

  • I wonder if there is a hardware difference between both models? My third WNDR3700 is enroute via fed ex. My follow up video will be me actually connecting it. Lets see wat happens.

  • not sure if this has been mentioned in the video or comments but i just found out that when you use NETGEAR WNDR 3700 with a CLIENT BRIDGE.. the wndr3700 can't have wireless security....

ie. i need to expand my network to another side of the house... i bridged it to another router successfully.. but the router will NOT allow wireless security when you bridge (wireless repeater) your routers...

i wonder if i can flash the wndr3700 with dd-wrt? hmmmm

and will that help this stupid router

  • You are absolutely right. These people have no idea what you have experienced but I do. I hate this router. I have the 3800 and it no better. I'm not a newbie. I hate this. They advertise it like its so easy. Its not. Liars!!

  • How did you set up your router? When you said it doesnt work, does it mean the router itself wont turn on or something else? Have you tried connecting through LAN to see if you're just having a really bad interference in your home? It sjust weird cuz netgear already sent you a new router and still wont work.

  • I have had my 3700 for over a year now I first got the linksys e3000 and brought it back because it was so slow this router was a little buggy at first but way better than the e3000 in my use the usb hdd was faster and better the router was way faster and better signal in my house.

  • sounds like you need to check your cabling I have one at the office and one at home they work flawlessly.

  • Ouch, two dead. Mine works well, but i'm still dissapointed. It's not as fast as it is touted to be, but much faster then the average 2.4GHz 802.11n. I have so far only reached 16MBs/128Mbs 5.2Ghz. But gigabit maxed out at 54MBs/432MBs, because of HDD.

  • this guy does not know how, stay away from the internet or pay some one who knows! I own one, easy to install, no problems at all, thumps up to net gear

  • have you tested the router at another location?
