An album is a collection of songs, regardless of the format. You can buy an album on vinyl (LP) or as a CD. This alternate version of "The Journey" is a bonus track on the current in-print remastered CD currently available on Amazon.
The question we all have is - where is this version from? Would like to know if it comes from an album (if we can even use that word today) with other alternate versions of other songs. Love the Brain Capers version, but this one has the vocals clearer and easier to hear. Love 'em both!
Absollutely fantastic, a real gem from Englands most underrated yet compelling and enduring rock legends.Thank our lucky stars for you tube making such music readily available to all with ears to listen and a soul to feel with, this wonderful ballad must surely be a soundtrack to so many of our lives.
always loved Mott, Verden Allens playing is so distinct, I can not find the B side of 'sweet angeline' (Downtown) another fine example of V A at his best....thanks for the memory it made me dig out Capers and clean it up ready for another 10 years at 62 I better hurry up...thanks again all
Thank you my friend for adding this video. A fellow fan I think. But this is not the original version I know although is perhaps even more beautiful. Any info about this would be great. Thank you again Oddvar.
