Grinch's Sidekick, Shelter Rescue "Max the Dog" And Hundreds of L.A. School Kids Honor Animal Welfare Activist Tippi Hedren With "Who-Manitarian" Award
As Universal Studios Hollywood Kicks Off '18 Days of Grinchmas'
  With Real Snow, Celebrity Tree Lightings and Who-liday Cheer
WHO: Golden Globe Award winning actress, animal welfare activist and Founder
of Roar Foundation, Tippi Hedren, The Grinch and his faithful dog, Max,  the Grinchmas cast, joined by over 100 Los Angeles elementary school students from the Inner City Educational Foundation charter school.
WHAT: A shelter rescue himself, "Max the Dog" pays it forward by honoring Tippi Hedren for her dogged support of animals rights with a prestigious "Who-Manitarian Award."  Surrounded by all the Whos down in Whoville, The Grinch, and hundreds of school children "Max the Dog" will bestow Ms. Hedren with this tribute as he barks support for his "Max to the Rescue" adoption fair on Dec. 11-12 and Universal Studios Hollywood's "Grinchmas" holiday celebration. "Grinchmas" will enliven the holiday season with the Grinch, tons of fresh snow and a "Who-ville Whobilation" at the original movie sets where the classic "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" was filmed.  "Grinchmas" will include nightly tree lighting ceremonies at the 60-ft tall whimsical curving "Grinchmas" tree and celebrity readings of "Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Who Stole Christmas!" Families will enjoy meetings with The Grinch and "Max the Dog."  "Grinchmas" dates: Dec. 11-12, and daily from Dec. 18 to Jan.2.  "Grinchmas" is included in the price of admission."
