The St. Francis House in St. Augustine, Florida, where staff, volunteers, and community work together to provide services for the area's at-risk and homeless population. Services include a shelter, a feeding program (3 meals per day and two snacks), counseling. job assistance, a clothes closet, and food pantry. Sandwiches and other provisions are distributed to hundreds of the region's migrant workers. Additionally, efforts are organized daily to rescue thousands of pounds of good food from restaurants and groceries that would otherwise go to waste.
