One of the songs composed in a rare raagam maand.. Very few composers have used this ragam. AR Rahman composed Anjali anjali in this ragam. Deva composed rakka katti in annamalai in this ragam.. The best and evergreen song composed in this ragam will always be Oru Naal pothuma from thiruvilayadal..

This song gives a great vacation, relaxed feeling. The house and setting (only both of them) wide gardens, pool, K Balachander is great at giving the right moods.

I'm watching and listening to this video, as my mind is heavy. I wanted to wear my headph, close my eyes, recline in my chair n listen to this song. But, Bhanu mam's dance keeps me hooked to the video as well. Hats off to the choreographer, Bhanu mam's elegance, Mamooty's modest yet stylish looks, the lyricist (amazing lines, I must admit), the musician (for the soothing score) and the artistic setting. Rarest of the rare songs ;) Kudos to all these artist(e)s and their efforts.
