I have never seen any horse perform better than Zenyatta, and I don't think I ever will. I hope she continues to do well.

Zenyatta has never won a race by 20 lengths. So if it were a group race and if Rachel was at her best, chances are that she`d beat Zenyatta.

Rachel is a successful front runner, Zenyatta is a successful back runner. They`re both great horses, I`m just saying that if Rachel was in the kinda form she was in in the KY Oaks, she could win over Zenyatta. As long as its in a feild of horses, in a match, its pretty much an open game.

Why do you think they pulled her out of the Apple Blossom? They rushed her, a big mistake, and she wasn`t ready.

She did great in the KY Oaks and won the Preakness Stakes, the Haskell, and the Woodward. If they get Rachel back in top shape, then she`d most likely beat Zenyatta. Now in a 1 1/2 mile race, Zenyatta would win, but Rachel could hold up under the strain. 1 1/4 would be close.

@Beatlegirl4eva RACHELS's last quarters SUCKS. There is no way Rachel's is going to hold off Zenyatta's 22 23 last quarters to Rachels 25 26. Just no possible. Why do you think they are trying to teach Rachel to rate. Unfortunately, Rachel can't rate. She just goes all out and after about a mile, she starts to suck wind.

I doubt they`d be running a 2 mile match, any trainer with an ounce of brains would run for the hills at the mention of it. At least nowadays with our fragile American horses. Rachel can hold up for a 1 1/2 mile test, I`m sure. Sometimes size isn`t everything, I`ll refer again to Seabiscuit and War Admiral.

Rachel held off Macho Again in the Woodward Stakes, if she really wants to win, she can, so if it cae down to a challenge, either way Zenyatta would have a hard time of it.

Rachel isn`t a mare, a female has to be 5 to be considered a mare.

It all depends on what happens between now and then. You never know. If you`ve really been watching races since the 70s, you should know that you can`t say anything for sure when it comes to horses, especially race horses. You should also know anything can happen.
