Suspiria 1/7 (1977)

A young dancer travels to join a famous ballet school. As she arrives, the camera turns to another young woman, who appears to be fleeing from the school. She returns to her apartment where she is gruesomely murdered. Meanwhile, the youngster is trying to settle in at the ballet school, but hears strange noises and is troubled by bizarre occurrences. She eventually discovers that the school is merely a front for a much more sinister organization. This film is considered one of Dario Argentos best work ever, I do however like his 1982 film Tenebrae (Tenebre) much better.

Sure it's not remastered? The titles are in English (apart from the Italian names, of course). And it's in stereo? This is what my 2 disc 25th Anniversary edition looks (and SOUNDS) like and the difference is notable because I first saw the film on a washed out MONO-sound VHS version released by FOX-LORBER Home Video (albeit, letter-boxed and uncensored).
