Thom Hartmann: Hopefully, Obama will get out of Afghanistan

Afghanistan is a place where empires go to die, says American radio host Thom Hartmann.
With nearly 800 American servicemen lost, support for the mission in the U.S is at an all-time low.
Hartman told RT why he thinks the war was a mistake from the outset.

@Pellegrino80 Knowing the consequences of drugs, if they were legal and regulated like alcohol/tobbacco do you think the demand would go up? If the money gained through there sales was used to EDUCATE consumers like with tobbacco is this worse then money being used to grow gangs/ violence? You cannot control Free Will with laws if there is something they feel is worth the risk. You can only educate & provide consequences for those decisions, like with DUI.

By making drugs illegal have we stopped the demand? No

Are gangs a more desireable entity to licensed REGULATED businesses? No

Are over burdened prisons, gang murders preffable to you then a taxable govt regulated product? Ron Paul is not suggesting making drugs anymore accessable then they already are, just eliminating the chaos of those who make that poor choice. Any other reason u think he's a joke?
