Fender Champion 600 / Baja Telecaster / NOS

I saw this on craigslist and couldn't pass it up. I did pass on the stock Chinese mystery tubes though. It now has a NOS Sylvannia 6v6 and a Tungsol. Really dramatic improvement.

The amp is on 11 - I'm just picking really softly and rolled the volume back on my tele a notch or two.

Deluxe Memory Man is on all the time. The loop is part of a new song - I'm just cruising over it - didn't want to get too busy and muck it up.

Next upgrade will be a new OT and maybe a new 12" speaker so I can run it through my 1x12

The Baja has upgraded electronics by RS Guitarworks and a Callaham bridge. Awesome upgrades . . .

Thanks for listening man. I actually used a really basic digital camera. I was really thrilled with the tone on this one . . . something special definitely happened. The RS kit in the telecaster and the Deluxe Memory Man definitely added some extra magic.

I definitely gave the Baja a bit of extra love too - callaham bridge and RS kit. Helped make a great guitar even better.

Thanks for swinging on by. Yes this is a verse to one of my new songs. I just did some slow improvisation over the recorded loop to make it a bit more interesting for this youtube vid. Trying to show off the sound of the Champ with NOS tubes. I was really surprised at how good I got it to sound. My other vids are all parts of original songs that I'll be recording with a full band within the year.

Can anyone tell me what MF's friend means by; med duet, hard duet, soft duet on the tubes? I called them and they couldn't answer my question. I'd like to order Tung Sol's for my champ 600, reverb deluxe and bluesdeluxe. One last question, what brand tube for a Vox ac15. Thanks.
