This comiket IOSYS surprised us releasing an electric guitar only album. No vocals, no j-pop, just a sweet collection of songs arranged and performed by minami.
I have never given that much of attention to IOSYSs albums before (dont get me wrong, I kind of like IOSYS, some of their stuff is good) but this one caught my attention, I listened to it and it was anything but the IOSYS I knew.
The guitar work is amazing and its complemented with percussion that helps emphasize the essence of every song.
About this arrange as I said, the percussion helps keeping the cheery mood of the original, while the guitar adds a feeling of power into it.

He's not referring to Rinnosuke, as Rinnosuke has never been in a game. In the first game, you fight a boss named "Shingyoku" who has three forms; a giant Brown Yin-Yang, a Female Demon Priestess form, and a male-ish Priest form, though the image was non-descript enough that the last form could possibly be female.

The only other possibly male character in HRtP is Sariel, the last boss of the Makai route, who is also nondescript gender-wise.
