V12 MGB-GT.m2t

I am building my first race car, a 1967 MGB-GT with a Jaguar V12 and am hoping to be competitive in SCCA's EMod class. The class allows any engine available in a car in the US to be put in any body that was available in the US. In this video, I start the engine for the first time.

You have warmed my heart, my dad owned many british cars, many were bought from dad's late longtime friend & neighbor Hap Richardson a well known SoCal XK120-140 Jag racer. Hap's 1969 MGC-TC was converted with a Buick-Olds 215 V8 prior to dad owning it. We had some great road trips in it and more than a few fast ones. Would love to see you in competition with yours someday if you ever find yourself at Laguna Seca, post it please.

That probably wasn't smoke,but steam from moisture collected over many years of inactivity. I often start old engines and have seen that plenty of times. You may need to change the carb diaphragms though.

you must post more video's as the project progresses!!!! Im putting a ford duratec into my MGB, if you can fit a jag v12, i can do the ford lol.
