Most cartoons nowadays are so out of touch with reality that one must be overly drugged to even understand them. I'm impressed with this series.

It would have been a step too far for a children's cartoon. Look at cartoons nowadays though. Most don't even mention death. It explains why children fear death when they're older. BBC should repeat this series every so often.
