@J11EVAN2 it's a performance, right? not a concert^^ and i think it fits the song, so what's wrong about it?

Börk Börk? Sounds kind of familiar, dunnit?

our choir is working on this song rite now!lol

I've sung this song before, and it still remains my favorite song of all time. The pronunciation is a bitch but it sounds amazing when done right.

lol that so cool and great good job

It's possible we went that fast due to nerves and the nature of the show. If you listen to the copy from the CD released on iTunes, the tempo is more consistent and in line with what you are saying. We love(d) singing this piece. Thanks for writing it!

We've just begun working on El Hambo in my university choir, and were actually just discussing the pronunciation today. I'm glad I saw your comment on this video!

i've had this song in my head for weeks since we did it at Hampshire area youth choir it was really fun !!! hehehe XD
Great choreography, too bad about the tempo. Although both El Hambo and Pseudo-Yoik tolerate a wide variety of interpretations, this is a bit over the top. The metronome marking in the score is 152, and here we have a heart-stopping 180. I'm less concerned about the pronunciation -- since the text does not mean anything, there obviously cannot be a canonically correct way to pronounce it! What is more important is to be consistent within the group. -Jaakko Mäntyjärvi
