Monica is an apprentice to Jordan du Bois and must ensure he finishes a violin he started 30 years ago. His son, Tony, has come home for the holidays with a devastating secret: He has AIDS and has come home to die. Disappointed, Jordan distances himself from Tony. Monica then learns that Tess had revealed herself to the violin maker 30 years ago. Showing Monica the imperfect wood, Tony confronts his father. When his health takes a turn for the worse, he enters an AIDS hospice. His mother Willa and sister Nora try to persuade Jordan to visit Tony, but are unsuccessful. Hearing carols down the hall, Tony tells his hospice worker, Tess he would like to see an angel. She reveals herself and says he has not disappointed God. He then panics. Monica and Andrew together attempt to persuade Jordan to reconcile himself to Tony. His response is to destroy the violin. Tess admonishes Andrew that he should not judge Jordan just as he should not judge Tony. Monica reveals herself and says that God accepts Tony for who he is and he should do likewise. The ruined violin is restored and Jordan takes it with him to the hospice. after reconciling with his estranged son, Jordan picks up the violin and the blemish in the wood is transformed into a Christmas tree.

  • Well I believe God loves us all no matter what.

I'm straight and I say: so what if someone's gay or lesbian? So long as they *emphasis on this word* RESPECT children, animals and life it doesn't matter. They're still humans like you and me.

  • @Digitalfairy I so agree with you on this one, it doesn't matter if someone is gay/lesbian in the bible it says god loves all is children, he never wrote in that book I love all my children except gays/lesbians because that's not in gods nature.

  • @joanne275 Yes but in the bible it is also a sin to be gay if you don't believe me then look it up

  • @cfswascemily I don't read the bible I don't go to church yes I'm gay I'm happy with my life I wouldn't change it for the world, so please enjoy the rest of the episodes.

  • This is taking a long time to load.

  • @theripper32694 i think you-tube are having a few teething problems sorry :)

  • i love this episode I am gay and for so long even from my parents and even the bible I had heard i was a abomination and that i was going to hell then i saw this and as i heard tess and Monica speak i felt a warm vibration around my head, shoulders, down my back and inside my heart and felt that god was telling me what was important

  • @Karenjadegirl

The sins of Sodom and Gomorrah was that they had no sense of hospitality, or kindness to the stranger. Homophobia was something Christianity whipped up and it seeped into Judaism and Islam. The people in Sodom and Gomorrah weren't gay, they were rapists and marauders.

  • As long as gays don't touch me, then I say more power to them. People should be happy no matter what anyone thinks. Remember, every gay guy on earth means one less person to compete with for women's favor.

  • @cfswascemily the bible also say to kill a child if he or she is bad

but we dont do that , i say it dosent mater the orientation i believe that God loves us all for who we are not for who we pretend to be

  • @MrJeter693 How did you manage to arrive at that conclusion? If the Bible says something it means it. You can't believe one thing cause you like the sound of it and then not believe something else. That's picking and choosing.....

  • Hear me out. Being Gay is a sin, but to God, it's no worse than telling a lie or stealing. There are consequences for sin and unfortunately, AIDS is one of them. That's the truth and I'm sorry if it hurts. God loves Gays but he hates their sin just like he hates EVERYONE'S sin. If you truly give your life to God, he'll cleanse your life and give you a new heart with new desires.

  • Read 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

  • @cozzaaaxx No, you're right. The bible only said that neither homosexuals, nor adulterers, nor the greedy, nor drunkards will inherit the kingdom of God. And those are only a few on the list.

  • @cfswascemily actually, it never once states that it is a sin to be gay... imgur.com/a/8Zrnq for further info

  • You cant tell god on what YOU want to apologieze for but on the whole WORD you say god im sorry if i hurted you
