Watcher in the Dark

My first short film, shot in winter 2005 for TCS 100: Experimental Digital Cinema. This six minute version came from a six page script I wrote, which was whittled down from the original fifteen page draft that sadly no longer exists.

This film was originally a test for me to create mood, which I feel I accomplished. Story-wise, it was not to my satisfaction. The only part of the film that I do like is the soundtrack, which was composed and performed by me in a late midnight rush session before the film was due.

Shot over a period of two weeks, with shooting times going from 2am to 4am.

This is a low quality version of the film that runs at 15 frames per second. Unfortunately, a full, uncompressed DV copy no longer exists.

funky music. Doesn't sound scary though. But good video, it's pretty interesting for a test video, or so you say. lol

Eerie atmosphere!

I think you're being too hard on yourself in terms of the plot. The music is cool.
