@healthyfitmom Lev31:10 prohibits the tearing of garments and the person who does this is defiled. The ephod was made specifically so it would not tear. When the priestly garments where torn it brought the curse down upon the nation. Lev10:6. Interesting to note that a man named Joseph went to Pilate and asked for the Body of Jesus. After he wrapped Him up in "clean" linen cloth and placed Him in a tomb. The Messiah's garment was restored and the resurrection took place.

21:45 just had this rev. last week. Notice in Gen 37 the garments play a big role. Tunic stolen from Joseph symbolic of garment of righteousness, priestly garments. Reuben tore his garments = Ciaphus tore his priestly garments. Jacob tore his garments after learning of Joseph's death and Jesus's garments being torn & lots cast for them. Interesting Num 8:1-19 states how the firstborn is going 2be replaced by the Levite. Firstborn is replaced by the spiritual.
