How do you connect it to the computer?I already installed the program, and my USB mode is already set to Web Camera but it's not doing anything, kind of like what the person below me said.

shawtyrock22: You can't pause it. You press movie once to start, and press again to end it. I wish it paused to. :-(

you cannot pause while recording on this camera. if you press 'movie', it simply ends.

When I connect the gci to my computer, then put it on webcam mode, the camera disconnects from the computer. I cannot use this camera's webcam because it just doesn't work. I even installed the driver.

I really need some help. all files are in MP4s and those dont work with windows movie maker. So how do i convert the files into a type that is supported by windows movie maker?

I've had my Sony Gc1 since Christmas but i still dont know how to pause when im recording. If you know how to please reply to this comment.

Sony needs to study Apple a bit more and learn how to really connect with consumers and their needs. It's a decent enough product for the price, I got mine for $55.99 + tax, but wouldn't pay more for one. Low light and audio is awful. Forget about using it as a webcam. I have a stand alone DVD burner like you hook up to a TV and it works with that pretty well. It also makes a pretty good security cam, but it would be better if the camera would work without the screen being flipped open.

when you plug it in it is usually in "usb mass storage" hit the button that has da little lighting bolt thingy and it will change on the screen keep clicking until it says web cam but it doesn't work for me
