Different populations of killer whales eat different things. Most population groups are raised eating fish but some eat other mamals. In general those populations are more aggresive use less sonar communication than other orcas and somtimes engage in cannibilism. Though this isnt proven yet some experts believe that the orcas that eat fish and the ones that eat mamals stoped interbreeding 400,000 years ago which means that they are on their way (given 1-2 million yrs) to being different species.
