@kirin42 yes, not to mention, al the times he puts his hands up to block his face, etc., and going through fighting stances/ angles, i'm sure this practitioner would whoop some butt if trouble ever came his way, it would come out naturally.

@kirin42 most of the wushu forms wouldnt translate directly to the street, but i HEARD that long fist would probably be what you would want to know if you encountered a situation on the street - there are more direct strikes and blocks in this Long Fist than say Eagle Claw...

sounds like a soundtrack from MapleStory...
this seems to be a big debate here. what people forget is that forms and fighting don't need to be neccasarily the same thing. these kinds of forms build up such amazing strength and body control (not to mention stamina) that once you begin to the learn the fighting aspect of the art your foundation carries you higher then you would have gone only doing conditioning. truly forms conditioning is one of the hardest in the world.. and cha quan and other hui styles are extraordinarily difficult.

you know even if this form dosen't look like it wouldn't work "on the street". Chances are anyone with the body controll, strength, and agility it takes to perform like he did, would be more than able to wipe the floor with most anybody one would encounter on the street.
