How can music sound "gay"? Like Elton John? Or Limp Wrist? Or Judas Priest? Or George Michael? Because I don't think modern pop-punk sounds like those artists.

  • @MykeMetyll lmfaoooo. I mean generic

  • @xEdddie Not even the same genre!

  • This is a travesty. No, it's a sham of a travesty of a sham. I'm all for introducing older music to a younger audience but this is just a huge piece of shit. It is neither true to the original (the second best intro ever, the first being Heard it Through the Grapevine"), or sufficiently different to be worthwhile. Check out the original- by one of the best bands EVER. The Only Ones.

As Roy says in Blade Runner "the light that burns twice as bright.....".

  • Never even knew they covered this, awesome!

  • @roydied15

Shove what? My love for those musicians? Fuck off.

  • @MykeMetyll all those bands/singers you named, despite homosexual preferences, are AWESOME singers, soooo shove it :P

  • @LadyMurderMaid I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to go with xEddie on this one. Blink was once good old-fashioned punk, back in the Cheshire Cat/Dude Ranch days, but with Enema of the State they became mainstream. The fact is that they signed with a major corporate record label, had their material played in mainstream media, and changed their sound to gain widespread appeal. If you really want to see the punk scene, go to a local punk rock show that features bands you've never heard of. DIY!

  • @xEdddie

Not my point, my point is just because there old doesn't make them great, this whole Viral Album fad is getting stupid, and that sir is -your opinion- Doesn't change the fact that there still punk and I still like them along side Sex Pistols. And for your very miniscule legitimate information, the Punk scene either by the music or sub-culture is to be original and creative and sometimes political, and the main goal being anti mainstream. -sigh-

  • @LadyMurderMaid The bands I mentioned aren't from the 80's or the 90's. They were from the mid 70's when Punk Rock got to the mainstream. Green Day is terrible, Listen to The Sex Pistols and if you say Green Day is better then them, then your fucking retarded and don't know what real punk is.

  • @xEdddie

In the vast expanse of musical genre-ism, I have never heard of anything even related to 'Pop Punk' and Punk is just Punk that's the point, there not defined by anything they just are. And just because they we're from the 80s to 90s era doesn't validate there genre. Green Day is totally punk, They we're punk before Evanescence was Goth. Your whole outlook on the subject makes my ponder whether or not you've even hung out with the crowd.

  • @LadyMurderMaid They're POP PUNK! I hate how so many people say they're Punk, they aren't punk, Punk is Like The Sex Pistols, The Misfits, The Ramones etc. At least their more Punk then Green Day -__- Still I think Blink -182 is good.
