  • @ajlepisto What I meant is the situation when he shows it in "full speed" and DOES NOT take off for 2nd base (but stays at first base). However, in baseball it is about noticing the SMALLEST things as this will give you an advantage over the other team.

  • @waikikichris He gets off the bag talking about how to run to 2nd if there is a bad throw, meaning that he couldn't be tagged for an easy out. I love how people find the SMALLEST things to nitpick on.

  • Besides that he gets of the bag with his fingers before he touches it again with his foot. If you'd do that in a game you'll be any easy out.
